Let's (meaning me) do this!

My goals for 2008:

1. Write for at least 2 hours a day. It's a modest, but realistic, start. The fact is, there's always time. Even with a husband, a dog, an endless supply of books, a sewing fetish and a full-time night job that I cannot stand.
2. Finish my NaNoWriMo novel that I wrote two years ago. I've been thinking about this story since high school, and it's time to finish it. Plus, I have to take out all the extra words I put in to reach 50,000 words in a month.
3. Launch my Web site. Anyone with any idea on how to do that would be my superhero.

I'm thinking long and hard. . .

1) In 2008 I will make as much as I did in my full time job.

2) In 2008 I will finish my novel.

3) In 2008 I will pitch new print magazines at least once a month.

4) In 2008 I will accept and complete at least one speaking obligation.

5) In 2008 I will take at least two professional development classes.

Writing Goals Purpose

What are your writing goals?

I looked all over the web, and decided that maybe by making goal setting a group effort, we could all work together to make it happen.

Unlike other sites that focus on one type of writing, this blog is for everyone, any type of writing.

Posting is open, so what are your writing goals for the new year?

Introduce yourself, state your mission, and keep it touch!

If you want to be a blog author, leave a comment with your email address and I will add you on!

Good luck!!!
